Nursing Team

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified nurses. You should have been registered and working as a qualified nurse for a minimum of two years. We are particularly interested in hearing from nurses who are working as emergency nurse practitioners (ENP / ANP). We also welcome applications from nurses with experience in the following settings :-

  • accident and emergency
  • nurse practitioners in primary care or walk in centres
  • nurses working in intensive or critical care environments
  • nurses who have worked for organisations such as Médecins SansFrontières, Merlin, Oxfam or similar.

If you have additional skills such as advanced life support, nurse prescribing, suturing or plastering we would be very interested in hearing from you.

While most of the nurses who volunteer for us are qualified to work with adults we do occasionally accept applications from qualified children’s nurses who have experience of working with adolescents.

Mental health nurses should contact the Mental Health team rather than applying to the Nursing team.

We expect our volunteers to be reliable and professional when they  are rostered to work, and to familiarise themselves with the Festival Medical Services policies before they arrive at festivals. You should enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in an environment that can be challenging but is also very enjoyable.
